Great Mosque - Bitul Mukarram (National Mosque of Bangladesh)


Bitul Mukarram Mosque is one of the Magnificent Mosque in Bangladesh. It is situated at capital city Dhaka, west of motijhil on topkhana rood. It is the national mosque in Bangladesh. Construction of baitul  Mukarram started on 27 January 1960 and completed in 1968. The area of the main prayer hall is 26,517 square feet. The hall is enclosed by verandas of three of its side. Now the mosque has a capacity of 40,000. Bitul Mukarram mosque is the 10th biggest mosque in the world. This is designed in the style of the holy Ka’abah at Mecca. The great architect, T Abdul Hussain Thariani designed the mosque complex.  Shops, offices, libraries, and parking areas included within the complex.
This beautiful modern mosque is National mosque of Bangladesh .whenever you want to visit Dhaka city, do not forget to set a visit at National mosque.
